Deleting your data

Delete one child

Open Choreby, go to the Parent Zone, enter your PIN, and open the Family tab. Tap the red ✕ next to the child you want to remove. Their profile, gem balance, quest history and streaks are erased. With Family Sync on, the deletion propagates to your other devices and to the household record.

Delete a quest or a reward

In the Parent Zone, open Tasks or Rewards and tap the red ✕ on the item.

Delete your parent account and all synced data

Parent Zone → Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and the entire household record — every kid profile, quest, gem balance, reward and monster — from our systems. It cannot be undone and we cannot restore it afterwards.

Prefer to write to us instead? Email privacy@choreby.com from the address on the account and we will delete it and confirm in writing.

Delete everything on the device

Press and hold the Choreby icon on your Home Screen, choose Remove App, then Delete App. iOS removes the app and its local data together.

Two things worth knowing before you do that:

• Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Cancel separately in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Choreby.
• Deleting the app does not delete a Family Sync account. Use the in-app account deletion above if you want the synced record gone too.

What we hold after you delete

Nothing that identifies you. Apple retains its own record of the transaction for tax and accounting purposes under their policies, and we receive only anonymous aggregate sales reporting from that, which cannot identify a person. Backups containing deleted account data age out on a short rolling cycle and are not accessible for restoration.
